During the 2007 Summer Program, students will live in Stanley Residence Hall, located on Clinton Street behind Currier Residence Hall (see map for directions.) Students will usually live two or three students to a room. Boys and girls live on separate floors. Each room is furnished with beds, desks, chairs, lamps, and a place for clothing storage. The residence hall also has a room with washers and dryers, and all rooms are air-conditioned.

Making the transition from living at home to living in a residence hall with other people requires some adjustment in thinking. The UB residence hall staff and the UB permanent staff are there to help you.
In the evening, students take a class called Lifetime Sports/Special Interest (LS/SI). These classes are designed to help students experience new sports or hobbies that they may not have tried before but could pursue on their own. The emphasis is on individual instead of team activities. Some of the activies in past summers included running, eight-ball pool, song writing, frame-making, and kickboxing.
LS/SI is a great way to unwind after a full day of classes. It is also a fun way to enjoy new experiences and train for the UB Olympics!
