Columbus Community High School is the home of the Wildcats. CCHS is a high school of approximately 300 students and was built in 1961.There are approximately 30 faculty members at the school.
Situated near the confluence of the Iowa and Cedar Rivers in rural Southeastern Iowa, Columbus Junction has a population of approximately 1,600 people. The school district also includes students from the neighboring towns of Columbus City, Conesville, Cotter, and Fredonia.
